Identify triggers, track symptoms, maintain good habits and take control of your wellness with the Bipolar Journal

If you suffer from or know someone suffering from Bipolar - this journal is the most complete digital aid in managing symptoms that's available. Anywhere.

A bold claim, right?

I say this because it was built using Notion - A sandbox all in one platform for organising your life.

This makes the journal interactive and customizable, you can change any of the trackers, worksheets, databases and anything else to your preference. Making it more likely for you to use it as frequently as you need. Although it works perfectly fine as it is!

Notion also allows you to grant access to friends or your therapist if you want to involve them. Or if you are a therapist you could use this tracker with a client that has indicated that they prefer to record things digitally.

The journal is made with mobile usability in mind so logging everything is not a chore. I've used feedback from people who have purchased print out journals to help include the most relevant tools and resources.

What's in V1 of the journal?

  • Simple dashboard to see things at a glance. It's been kept simple for mobile usability - with everything easy to get to "under the hood"
  • About Bipolar - For learning more about the disorder, containing sections to better understand the condition and links to find further support
  • Managing Symptoms - With sections for identifying your biggest risk and protective factors, a symptom tracker, mood tracker and a section for grounding exercises when you are getting too high or low.
  • Medical Area - With medication record, sleep tracker, doctors appointment and a therapy journal
  • DBT/CBT - With 5 selected exercises appropriate for coping with the symptoms
  • Self- Care - Containing a bullet journal for recording your most important habits and spotting patterns. A vision board for visualizing the better days and a self care log for when you are trying to maintain regular basic habits during the harder times.
  • Comprehensive guides for each section
  • Optional Discord community invite - To act as a support group for everyone using the journal, a place for direct feedback with tips on how to make the most of the journal and notions features.
  • Those that purchase the complete version will get new versions twice a year, every year. On Bipolar awareness day each spring and World Mental Health Day each autumn. With added features, content and more companion worksheets to print out.

About the Creator - Hey! I'm Dominic, otherwise known as the_ikiguy. My personal link to bipolar is through my mom. Who has suffered from bipolar type 1 having been diagnosed when I was 4 years old.

Bipolar disorder had and still has a pretty big impact on our lives so my motives are to create something that could help others that go through the same. I feel Bipolar affects so many lives and doesn't quite get the attention other cognitive disorders receive. I'm determined to make this tool the best available and you are welcome to join me on the journey! This is only the beginning.
